About Us

Helping families rebuild hope. From a hotline that began in 1977 to opening an emergency shelter that has resided at its location since 1983, the Center Against Sexual and Family Violence has helped generations of people who have survived domestic violence and sexual assault cope with their trauma and find hope. Our mission is to advocate for safety and justice through intervention, education and community collaboration. 

 

CASFV opened the Family Resource Center, started the Battering Intervention & Prevention Program, established a transitional living center, and participates in community outreach and fundraisers to further assist those in need. We are here to provide the necessary guidance and resources to help those who experience violence on the road to a healthy recovery. 



For more than 40 years, CASFV has been providing hope to those individuals seeking a new future. We know that violence takes many forms, and we have the expertise and to help people heal. We can assist by providing guidance and empowerment to leave unhealthy situations and providing the tools needed for recovery. That is why we are here — to help anyone who has experienced domestic violence or sexual assault. 
 
CASFV is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization governed by a board of directors and serves El Paso County, Hudspeth County and Culberson County.
